New England and tri-state region. It has a humid continental climate with extremes in in its seasons.
Per capita income varies greatly from one part of the state to another. Cost of living is expensive
due to being close to the New York metropolitan area. Many homes are over $500,000 and has the most million
dollar homes in the northeast at 3.3%. Industrial manufacturing consists of transportation equipment,
heavy industrial machinery, electrical equipment, fabricated metal products, chemical, pharmaceutical,
and scientific instruments.
